I graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Finance and Economics. Over the next four years I worked for Vanguard as an investment professional in Retail Investor Group. I decided to transition into a new career because I wanted a change from working in client services. I have found I am passionate about coding because it is challenging work with a very tangible output. I prefer building out end-to-end applications and features as opposed to designing and styling the webpages on the front-end.

The Penn LPS bootcamp was a rigorous hands on program that focused on practical applications. We learned many popular front-end and back-end technologies and created multiple end-to-end websites during the bootcamp.
